St. Mary and Vista Elder Care work together to provide a range of free or low cost community based services to the elderly homebound to help promote good health, reduce isolation and encourage independence. We have 25 members of St. Mary who have completed the volunteer training program to provide services to the elderly in our community. These volunteers have provided services such as friendly visits, help with paperwork, in-home assessments, shopping, transportation, reassurance telephone calls, yard work, meals, and household chores.
