In the midst of all the activities and ministries of the parish, our communal worship draws us all together as one body in the Lord and gives us the impetus to do all things in Jesus’ name. Our lives are directed to the praise of God whom we encounter in the liturgy and who transforms and sanctifies us through the Mass and the sacraments. In the words of the Constitution on the Sacred Liturgy: “The Liturgy is the summit toward which all the activity of the Church is directed; at the same time it is the fount from which all her power flows.”
